Friends,
As the possibility of reunification for the big boys draws near I have been thinking about ways to remind the boys of how much we will always love them and be praying for them. In the foster care world, they teach about a “life book”, which is essentially a scrapbook of the time they were with you. I’m not that crafty. However, I had a thought this morning (more so Jesus gave me an idea). What about a book full of prayers specifically for them? SO this is where I need you.
Would you be willing to send me an email, Facebook message, text or even a letter that contains a prayer from you for the boys? For their parents?
How indescribable would it be if we could speak prayers into their lives even after they no longer live with us? What impact could our prayers have on their parents knowing that people who have never met them are continuously praying for their parenting, their finances, their education and their souls?
This just feels right to me. Will you join me in pouring an abundance of prayers into their lives? Just think, this might be the first time their mom and dad have ever heard someone pray for them.
Guys, God hears our prayers and he is faithful (1 John 5: 14-16). Will you help me?
